Electrical Connection of the Variable Speed Drive

The following applies to machines equipped with an on-board variable speed drive.

  1. Make sure that the power supply for the drive is compatible with the data on the nameplate of the variable speed drive.
  2. Make sure that the motor of the machine will not be affected by electric or electromagnetic disturbance from the mains; if necessary seek advice from Busch.
  3. Remove the cover from the variable speed drive. The cover is connected to the PE terminals with a PE cable. Do not interrupt this cable.
